First day in Germany ... a walk in the Stadt Park

the most glorious weather, and a walk in the forest with my mother. starting at the Wald Hotel in Rheinbach Forest. a new development, lovely beer gardens

the cross at the Rheinbach Forest Waldkapellchen, a pilgrimage place for the whole region, a lovely little chapel -  you can light a candle for someone

I wish I could post the smell, the feel and the light of the German Forest. This is one of the things I miss most. But here I am!
