Our afternoon in Treviso, just Mike and I and 42 degrees heat

Our Ryanair flight left from Treviso, about one hour from Venice. We had four hours to kill until our flight left, so we decided to store our luggage at the airport, take the bus into town and do a spot of shopping and sightseeing. Lovely spot and as one shopkeeper told us ' Treviso makes the best prosecco, it won a world competition. ' Must tell Gina, it is her favourite drink.

There were canals too - not quite like in Venice, but very attractive.

a few nice cafes to kill some time in. We sweltered again in the heat.
