Salve Bologna

Piazza Maggiore

Naughty Nymph - with a fish flapping between her legs

A biscotti with a cuppa-cino in Bologna, to get over the news that the last Ducati Factory Tour was over. On the agenda for the next visit!

Bologna is famous for its arched verandahs in the old town centre.

the foodie district had all you could wish for

And who needs to go to Pisa with a leaning tower like this??

Miles obviously liked Bologna and Bologna liked him.

Once in a while the Italian way of squeezing trucks through any tight lane, needs the trays of fruit to be moved a bit closer to the shop.

the colours and shapes !!!

Pumpkin Tortellinis with Balsamic Glaze, a local speciality

and who can go past Spaghetti Bolognese in Bologna - where it was apparently created. Must say, it was lovely but Mike's is better :)

Lights go on and we wander back to the Albergo Centrale, a great hotel. Again thanks go to the Lonely Planet travel guide book.
