The Viking Boats in Oslo Museum

The photos don't do this display of the boats justice - in this museum were four viking boats unearthed under burial mounts in the 1950s and dating back to 600-1200 AD.



The sheer size of the boats, and the fact they made it all the way from Norway to North America (amongst other destinations) is amazing.
